Samer and Abeer Al-Adiy are long time FBCR supported Missionary couple that is currently serving in Germany. They will be joining us via Zoom to share with us what God is doing through their special ministry to Arab speaking cultures in Germany. Please join us for this special time of hearing from them and encouraging them as they serve the Lord in Germany.

Deadline for registration is September 16th. 

Student Choir is a great means for students to connect to God and others through music. They often help lead Sunday morning worship, play a major part in CAROLS each December and present The Sweet Show as a fundraiser. Each school year is capped off with a Music/Mission tour in the summer.

We offer several Bible study groups during the week. These can be discussions of a devotional book, an in-depth study of a book of the Bible, or a book review.

Wednesday evenings are an integral time to come together in community to share a meal, fellowship together, or worship through choir and orchestra. There are also multiple ways to grow in your faith through discipleship opportunities throughout our Wednesdays together.

This ESL program has been going strong for over 50 years and provides an opportunity for immigrants in our area to learn and develop their English skills while hearing about Jesus in a morning or evening session. This group will resume meetings on September 20th. Please check back to register as a student or volunteer.

Young at Heart is our largest 55+ monthly event. This program  includes entertainment followed by lunch. It is a great time of fun, food, laughter and fellowship.

RISD volunteers helped 85 students last school year and 84% of kindergarten students in the program met or exceeded their MAP growth goal for the year. We Read Together is helping close this achievement gap. We have a great group of volunteers who logged almost 2,000 volunteer hours. We need MORE volunteers for the 23-24 school year to grow the program. Click the link below to register to become a We Read Together partner!

We will have a training session on October 1 at Noon in Fellowship Hall.

The 4th Thursday of every month our church prepares delivers and serves 450 baked potatoes with all the fixings to our homeless neighbors at Austin Street Shelter. In addition to that we also spend time developing relationships and praying with those at the shelter.
