Update from the Dannekers

Occasionally the Dannekers will send a personal message meant just for Glenview Alliance.  Here we share these special letters to our church family.

February 2026

Dear Glenview Family,

Thank you for your gift of $175 for our ministry in Thailand.

We would appreciate prayer for 13-year-old Nong Ohm.  This young man was born with only one chamber in his heart (normally there are four). He spent much of his early years in the hospital and had several open-heart surgeries.  He has restrictions on diet and exercise and is on a lot of heart meds, but he has been able to go to school and lead a fairly normal life.  He was one of our early believers and was baptized last year.  Both of his parents have become Jesus followers as well. In the last few weeks, Nong Ohm has been in and out of the hospital.  His heart valve is leaking more, and he may need more surgery to repair it.  It would be very high risk.  Please pray that Nong Ohm remains strong in the Lord.  It is very discouraging for him to have to be back in the hospital.  Pray that the Lord would heal him, either miraculously or through another surgery (which is miraculous as well, considering his condition!).  Pray for his parents, Saiyan and Oh, that God will be their strength at this time.

Thank you for your prayers for us and your kind financial support.

Love in Christ,

Ed and Sue
