Occasionally the Dannekers will send a personal message meant just for Glenview Alliance.  Here we share these special letters to our church family.

Dear Glenview Family,

Thank you very much for your recent gift of $310 for our ministry in Thailand.

We are in our hottest season in Thailand with temperatures soaring over 100 degrees.  The Thai celebrated their New Years from April 13-15 with lots of water splashing.  The churches had a “rot nam tam hua”, a beautiful Thai custom where they bless the elderly in the church.   This year, though, we escaped the heat for two weeks and visited our daughter Laura in Hungary.  We had a lovely time seeing her new country where she is teaching at an international Christian school. 

Please pray as we continue outreach even in these warm temperatures with Friday night cell group and visiting those that show an interest in the Lord.  Pray especially that Goy will soon trust in Jesus as her savior.  Pray for many Thai people to decide to turn to Jesus.   The Thai schools will start again in mid-May, and we hope to start our English outreach at the end of May.
