Experience the journey of Jesus to the cross firsthand on April 16th–19th in the Recreation Building Gymnasium. Through hands-on interactive stations, you will walk alongside Christ, understanding the depth of His sacrifice and the graphic portrayal of our Messiah’s suffering. This year, we have included a special Children's Experience geared toward school-aged children alongside the regular stations. Join us as we take up our crosses and walk with Christ, preparing our hearts for the Good Friday Worship Service to follow. The experience takes, on average, 45 minutes to go through, and you are welcome to take a longer or shorter time to experience it.
Walk With Christ to The Cross Experience Schedule:
- Wednesday, April 16th | Open 4–8:00 PM (Childcare available 4–8:00 PM)
- Thursday, April 17th | Open 4–8:00 PM (No childcare)
- Friday, April 18th | Open 3–5:00 PM (No childcare)
- Saturday, April 19th | Open 9 AM–4 PM (No childcare)
Volunteer Position Details:
Greeter - This person will welcome participants as they enter the recreation building and guide them to the "Walk with Christ to the Cross" experience in the Gym.
Station Assistant - This person will be available to assist participants as needed while they walk through the experience, respecting their privacy. More details will be available before you serve.
