Cross Training Sports Camp 2026 - Parent Info

THE BEST CAMP EVER IS BACK!

One of the highest attended camps at Riverview Park, the goal of Cross Training Sports Camp is to teach "quality sports instruction with a Christian purpose."

Cross Training will be held June 1-5 from 8:30-11:30am each day at the Riverview Park Activities Center (100 Riverview Park Dr, North Augusta).

Camp registration is $60 per child. 

Cross Training Sports Camp is for kids who have completed Kindergarten - 5th grade (2025/26 school year).

A second form will follow for your child's information. Your registration is not completed until you have filled out a form for each child you are registered for camp.

Media Rights Release

By signing below, and for the good and valuable consideration of participating in an event hosted by TrueNorth Church, I hereby give my full consent to TrueNorth Church, (“TNC”) a nonprofit corporation headquartered in South Carolina, to record, by writing, by video, photographic, or audio recording device, or by any other analog or digital means, my actions, physical likeness, biographical information, and/or voice. Additionally, I hereby grant to TNC, without royalty or other compensation now or in the future, all rights of every kind and character whatsoever, in perpetuity, in and to any and all such recordings, along with any additional recordings I might provide to TNC, and to any benefits inuring to TNC as a result of its use of any of the foregoing recordings. Among other things, TNC may, but is not required to, copy or reproduce the recording, edit or modify it, incorporate it into another work, display or broadcast it or any of the foregoing privately or publicly, and use or license it or any of the foregoing for use by others, all for the sole benefit and at the sole discretion of TNC, for the advancement of TNC's exempt charitable purposes. All permissions granted herein extend to any successor or assign of TNC and bind me and my heirs, successors, and assigns. I, hereby release and discharge and agree to hold harmless TNC, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and independent contractors, from any and all claims or damages, including but not limited to defamation or violation of rights of privacy or publicity, arising from or associated with the recordings or use of recordings. This release shall be construed, interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, and should any provision of this release be determined invalid, such invalidity does not affect any of the remaining provisions. I am of full age and have the right to contract in my own name.

Child Waiver

BY TYPING MY NAME BELOW, I AGREE TO THIS STATEMENT: I am the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) I am registering for the above event. I understand that there are inherent risks involved in ministry events. I voluntarily elect or accept and soley assume all cost and risk of damages and injury incurred or suffered by the child/children I have registered while attending this event. I hereby agree not to sue and release the Church, its pastors, employees or volunteers from any and all liability, claims, damages, and costs for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur during this event. I further agree that I shall hold harmless and fully indemnity the parties hereby released from any claims, damages and costs which may arise from any claim. In the event that my child/children is/are injured and requires medical attention, I consent to any reasonable medical treatment as deemed necessary by a medical professional. In the event that medical treatment is required, I agree to hold such person free and harmless of any claims, demands, or suits for damages arising from the giving of such medical care. I also agree to hold harmless and release the Church, its pastors, employees, and volunteers any and all liability related to expenses arising from the giving of such medical care.

Awards Program

I give permission and request for my child(ren) to ride the bus from Riverview Park Activities Center to TrueNorth Church for the awards program on Friday, June 5.
