Description: "In the Bible, the Tabernacle is referred to as the mishkan, which literally translates to “residence” or “dwelling place.” Mishkan comes from the Hebrew root “to dwell,” and so the Tabernacle was the earthly dwelling place where God manifested His presence and communicated His will. It is also referred to as the ohel moed, the Tent of Meeting."
