Leader: Jessica Day Day: Wednesday Meeting Time: 6:00pm Topic: The Tabernacle Location: Guntersville Campus
Description: "In the Bible, the Tabernacle is referred to as the mishkan, which literally translates to “residence” or “dwelling place.” Mishkan comes from the Hebrew root “to dwell,” and so the Tabernacle was the earthly dwelling place where God manifested His presence and communicated His will. It is also referred to as the ohel moed, the Tent of Meeting." (ifcj.org) Have you ever been in a metaphorical wilderness, feeling alone, only to find God is there? In this study, we will learn about the Tabernacle from the Old Testament. We will see how God is always pursuing us, always with us, never leaving us. He is our HOME.
