Summer  Jam 2025 is June 23rd-25th. We ask that our volunteers arrive at 3:30pm for a team meeting before the children arrive at 4pm.

Summer Jam Teams:

  - NextGen desires to place you on a team that best fits your talents and preferences. Please review the team descriptions below. Then select your First, Second and Third choices.

Audio Visual/Tech: Run sound for worship services & main gatherings. Be available for tech related set up, issues and tasks.

Event Planning/Prep: Assist the NextGen team in overall planning of Summer Jam. Assist in volunteer recruitment, communication and other behind the scene tasks.

Hospitality: Create a welcoming and functional eating experience by helping to cook supper as well as setting up the food and drinks.

Games/Activities: Coordinate with the NextGen team to plan, prepare and carry out games and activities for participants.

Set Up/Tear Down: Be available, prior, during and after sessions for any set up needs (tables, chairs, etc.)

Teaching/Story Telling: Collaborate with the NextGen team for lesson topics. Prepare and present the daily lesson/story during the designated time.

Team Leader: will lead small groups and activities directly with the kids.
