Please fill this form out individually, one per person.

At FCC, we take our membership roll down to zero at the end of every year and have a month-long time of renewal and recommitment that is accompanied by a 7-Habits based Spiritual Health Survey. This helps us take stock of where we are spiritually as individuals and then focus on how to grow together.

A Few Important Clarifications to Remember:

  • At FCC, membership includes an agreement to uphold our Confession of Faith, which is a short summary of what we consider the orthodox teachings of the Christian faith. FCC’s teaching and ministry are rooted in and flow out of these biblical doctrines. We believe it is irresponsible and dangerous, as is common in many modern churches, to encourage our members to affirm so little when the Bible itself is quite rigorous regarding what a Christian should believe! So, while we have long required anyone in leadership or who is teaching at any level to agree to uphold the “Teacher Covenant," during Summer 2021, the Elders decided to begin requiring all members, as of 2022, to uphold this “Confession of Faith” (which is the same basic content as the Teacher Covenant was, but with a different name.) You can read the Confession at fccgreene.org/beliefs. “Agreement” is defined as a basic agreement to our Confession’s assertions, where there is an agreement, and where there is disagreement, the promise to speak to an Elder and to not teach or practice contrary to it in our ministry settings.
  • Every single member, regardless of how long you've been a member, is required to renew each year to maintain active membership. Just to be clear, there is no ongoing active membership status from year to year without renewing one's membership. If you fail to renew for one year, you are no longer an active member.
  • Each person must fill out a renewal form. You cannot fill one out for your spouse or children.
  • Exceptions to the above will be handled appropriately.

Membership Renewal

  - Membership at FCC involves:

1. Complete the Next Steps process.

2. Repent from sin and turn to walk with Christ as Savior and Lord by grace through faith, as evidenced by a Spirit-led lifestyle and meaningful participation in church life through the 7 Habits.

3. Identify with Christ through baptism by immersion, not necessarily at FCC. (If you have not been baptized, talk to your Next Steps Helper, Serve Team or Small/Life Group Leader, Campus Pastor, or let us know on the Connect Card to begin the process.)

4. Publicly confess faith in Jesus Christ during a worship service at FCC. This finalizes the process and formalizes membership by being welcomed by the Campus Pastor (or his delegate), who will lead you through this confession of faith (“Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and my Lord and Savior”) and then introduce you to the congregation. We take completion of this step to mean that you are in alignment with FCC’s Confession of Faith. If you disagree with anything in our Confession, we ask that you agree to not teach against, promote, or practice otherwise within our body and that you identify the area(s) of disagreement in discussion with the Elders before establishing or renewing membership. (See the FCC Confession of Faith at fccgreene.org/beliefs.)
