The Pilgrimage is a service-learning center based in the heart of the nation's capital. Students will travel to Washington D.C. to serve the working poor, homeless, and hungry. Students will serve others by participating in home improvements and handing out supplies to the homeless. They will also hear a speaker that will highlight that the world is not as it should be; it is broken by hunger, homelessness, poverty, and the inequalities that arise from and because of these issues.
When: April 17-19
Where: Washington, DC
The cost covers lodging, transportation to DC, and speaker costs. We will be asking for donations of food (for the weekend) and other supplies to hand out to the homeless during our stay.
