Bethel Downtown is excited to be hosting our 4th summer kids workshop this July! Elementary students are invited to spend the mornings of July 15-19 from 9 AM - 12 PM exercising their creativity as story makers as we journey through Joshua and Judges.We will adventure into the stories together, explore elements such as characterization, setting, and themes, and then practice telling others about these stories by helping the kids put on a play of the story for their parents on Friday!
There will be games, crafts, snacks, and lots of fun as we combine learning about the Bible with theatrical instruction. Kids will not be forced to act and have many opportunities to help with technical elements as well, so there's something for everyone.
Please note that since this is a workshop for kids entering kindergarten-5th grade, basic classroom skills such as following directions and going to the bathroom independently are needed. Please do not register children who are not yet entering kindergarten. Helpers will be available to assist with reading, so low reading skills are a-okay!
