For 60 years, Freewill has been a beacon of faith, not only gathering for worship but also reaching out in impactful service. As we celebrate our 60th Church Anniversary, we dedicate Saturday, December 6th to blessing the community that has blessed us! This special Community Day is an opportunity to 'Engage' directly with our neighbors, allowing us to 'Equip' one another with resources and support, and ultimately 'Empower' every participant to shine the tangible love of Christ. Join us as we become the hands and feet of Jesus, dedicating ourselves to acts of service and giving back to the community.
Community Day Service Opportunities:
• 8:00 AM | Community Prayer Walk @ FMBC - We invite you to begin the day by dedicating our neighborhood to God. Join us as we prayerfully walk the community, interceding for schools, businesses, and homes, and declaring the powerful blessings of the Lord over our community.
• 9:00 AM | Community Beautification at Life Academy and Carver High School - Come and lend willing hands to plant flowers at our Partners in Education, adding life and joy to the campuses. Every bloom planted is a symbol of hope and a tangible way to bless the students and educators who walk these grounds.
• 10:00 AM | Nursing Home Visitation - We invite you to meet us at Capital Hill Nursing Home for a beautiful opportunity to minister comfort and hope to our elderly neighbors through listening, visiting, and sharing the joy and light of Christ.
Let us know you are ready to 'Engage, Equip, and Empower' by filling out the form below or you can text the word "ENGAGE" to 334-262-2205.
