Camp KidJam is for rising 3rd - 6th graders.
We are traveling to Taylor University in Upland, IN this year to attend Camp KidJam. It is one of the BEST kids camps I've ever attended.
Kids will have the BEST. WEEK. EVER.
Camp costs $339 this year. We know that's a significant jump from last year. This costs is the camp's set price that includes our stay, food, and general camp costs. We are planning to raise money/pay for travel/leaders costs so that we don't have to pass that cost along to our families.
Cost should not be a reason that a kid doesn't attend camp. We will have fundraisers and scholarships available to help cover the costs. In the registration below, there is a question about what your family is planning to cover cost wise. Let us know what you're able to provide towards your child's camp costs so we can determine how much fundraising and scholarships we'll need.
One really fun part of Camp KidJam is called Tracks
Tracks are fun-filled activities that kids sign up for. They get to participate in one track each full day of camp. Here's the list for Tracks, feel free to read them off to your child so they can choose which Track they'd like to do:
Air It Out - Put your accuracy to the test with this exciting track! Ready, aim, AIR IT OUT!
Beat the Clock - Complete crazy fun tasks in a limited amount of time & win points for your team.
Brick-by-Brick - Do you love Lego bricks? I mean, REALLY love them? This is the track for you! Build your very own LegoLand brick-by-brick.
Crash! Bang! Splat! - Become a scientist and do some pretty cool experiments that might require safety goggles! (Shhh! Don't tell mom!)
Dance, Dance Baby - Learn all the latest dances and even make up your own little number. You'll record a music video to share with the entire camp!
FGO (For Girls Only) - NO BOYS ALLOWED! This track is for the girliest girls around. Think nail polish, flowers, lace, beads, and lots more. Create girly fashion items to wear all year.
Game On! - If you're a sports fan, you belong HERE! Get your GAME ON by playing soccer, kickball, baseball, and more.
H2O YEAH - These games and activities are all about water! You'll play some water games, maybe do a water experiment or two, either way, you'll definitely get wet. You might want to bring a towel for the walk back to your dorm.
Make Your Mark - Ready to get creative and make your own masterpiece? Create your own work of art by using a variety of supplies.
Taking the Stage - Put your acting skills to the test. Play drama games and create your own characters using costumes and theatrical makeup.
Xtreme Challenge - Ever want to see if you have what it takes to cross the finish line? See if you're p for the challenge in this track by completing the obstacle course in record time, win at Capture the Flag, and reign as King of the Hill.
