| Meeting Time: 7:00 PM | Description: We devote ourselves learning from the Bible and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. When you read the Bible, you will find that our Lord Jesus Christ spent a lot of time around the dinner table. Some of His memorable teachings were said while sharing a meal with others. People experienced His grace at His table. Our Lord’s company around the table was diverse. He cared for people who are considered unclean (outcasts). He broke bread with men who acquired riches from lies and corruption—He prepared a table in the presence of their enemies. He shared meals with foes and friends. At His table, He transformed lives by his grace and truth. He gave people hope. Some exchanged comfortable lifestyles to follow Him because of the hope that assured them of God’s “goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” What people experienced at the Lord’s table here on earth was a foreshadowing of life with God in heaven.
