"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."  John 3:16-17

To be saved and be certain of spending eternity with Jesus Christ, we must follow the direction given in Romans 10:9-10.  We must first admit that we are sinners and ask God to forgive our sin.  We must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins and who rose from the dead that we might have a chance for Salvation.  Finally, we must invite Jesus into our hearts and confess that we accept Him as the Lord of our lives.
