Description: BASICS is a 12-week study focusing on the essentials of following Jesus as Lord. It’s intended for up to 12 committed, CCW members who are seek ing their next step in faith formation. Times: Thursdays starting Aug. 27th with a shared, community meal (5-6 PM) and the group study (6-7:30 PM) in Darrell’s home. Participants will explore how and why a Christ-centered lifestyle reflects intentional ways of “being” with Jesus, “becoming” like Jesus, and “doing” as Jesus did. BASICS is an interactive experience. It involves a weekly rhythm of learning, practicing, reflecting and processing together. Materials are provided. FAQs: (1) No child care is planned; (2) the shared, community meal is optional but encouraged; (3) we will promptly start and end on time; (4) guided reflections take place in “triads”, groups of 3 (or 4) people of the same gender.
