Description: (5:30PM-6:30PM) In intercessory prayer, we come helpless at the feet of Jesus, seeking His power to change otherwise hopeless circumstances. We share testimonies and we pray for our children, our families, our PMC family, Andrews University, AA, RMES, and for whatever is heavy on our hearts. You might ask, "Why do we pray? Isn't God doing everything He can whether we pray or not?" Yes, He does, but in the great controversy between God and Satan there is a battle between good and evil and God chose to work within the ground rules. Out of His love, He voluntarily limits Himself. He does not violate the freedom of choice. When we pray, we open up new channels of working for God, that enable Him to do things that He would not do otherwise. Ellen White puts it this way: "It is part of God's plan to do in answer to a prayer of faith what he would not do if we did not thus pray." The Great Controversy, p. 525. Come and experience it for yourself.
