Description: This Spring we are continuing to meet every Thursday night to dig deeply into specific events and topics in the Bible for which there is wonderful historic, cultural, social, anthropological, and archaeological evidence. While we know that not all possibilities can be explored, we will focus on topics suggested by the group members. We will do that by viewing and discussing the contemporary videos of Season 1 of The Chosen. What Does It Mean to be Chosen? Is the text we will include in addition to our Bibles. Description: This Group will provide needed support and extra hands of help to ministries in the community. We will work primarily with Hunger’s End Food Pantry in downtown Bradenton preparing food bags, helping organize the pantry or clothes closet, and sorting through donations. This is an outreach effort taking place once a month on the third Saturday of the month. The leader will communicate on the date of the first Serve Saturday at Hungers End Food Pantry from 10-12 pm. All Students are welcome!
