Description: What do Christians believe? Maybe you are new to the faith or have been a Christian a long time and you believe Jesus is the only way to eternal life, but you might be unsure of how belief in Him impacts your life now. Perhaps you don’t fully understand the truths about Christianity you’ve been taught but you desire to gain a deeper understanding about what it means to be a Christian. Where do you start?

The Bible tells us what is true about God. Our brothers and sisters throughout the history of the Church have organized these truths into doctrines that have been corporately affirmed by Christians for thousands of years. These doctrines and core beliefs that are based on Scripture are essential to build a firm foundation for our faith and they align us in truth to know and love God well.

This course will meet at 6pm, beginning March 2, 2025

Discipleship Academy CORE is an educational ministry of Christian Fellowship Church that is designed to introduce learners to the major topics of Christian thought and practice. Description: This is a class for women and will be taught by Nancy Hoppenstedt. It begins on Tuesday, June 3 at 6pm in Room 331 (the balcony)

This is a 7-session video-based Bible study. There is a study guide for personal study at at home and there will be group discussion at each weekly session.

Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses.

Description: In this course, we will both learn and practice skills for interpreting the biblical text. We’ll seek to understand each book as its author intended, and apply the text directly to our lives. Much of our time in class will be devoted to modeling and practicing biblical interpretation so each learner will be able to confidently engage the Bible.
