Gender Mix: Women Children Welcome?: No
Description: Bring your sewing, crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, quilting, or mending project—and come slow down with us as we reconnect with the timeless art of sewing.
For generations, sewing bees brought women together—not just to make clothing or quilts—but to share skills, stories, and life itself. These gatherings were about more than productivity; they were about community, encouragement, and the quiet joy of working with your hands alongside others.
This is a space to work on your own project, share ideas and tips, and enjoy the company of fellow stitchers who value creativity, conversation, and old-fashioned community.
Please bring a snack to share as we work and enjoy fellowship together.
Whether you get a lot done or just a few stitches in, you’ll be part of something meaningful—reviving a tradition that has always been about more than thread and fabric.

Description: Gather ’Round the Heart of Amish Traditions
Step into a slower pace of life and experience a glimpse of Amish traditions with us.
We’ll begin together in the kitchen, preparing simple, homemade dishes side-by-side — just as the Amish do, where working together is as much a part of the gathering as the meal itself. As we cook and gather, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about everyday Amish life, explore old-fashioned skills, and hear how these timeless traditions still shape homes and hearts today.
After our cooking is done, we’ll sit down to share our meal — a reminder that food, fellowship, and community are at the heart of Amish living. You’ll experience not only the flavors of Amish cooking but the spirit of slowing down, working together, and savoring the simple things.
Please bring an apron and a heart ready to gather and connect.
