The Hiwassee River is 5.5 miles of Class 1 and 2 whitewater with one low level class 3 rapid at the end of your trip: “Devil’s Shoals.” It will take roughly two and a half to three hours to complete. Hiwassee Outfitters offers self-guided river trips, so you can go at your own pace!

We'll meet at the Hiwassee Outfitters at 11:30 for lunch, then head out on the afternoon launch around 1:00pm.

Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present for this event.
