Day: Sunday Time of day: 6:00 pm Frequency: One Time
Location: Calvary Chapel Chattanooga Sanctuary City: Chattanooga
Gender Mix: Co-Ed Children Welcome?: Yes
Description: Join us Sunday, July 3rd, as we meet together to make "An Appeal to Heaven" and celebrate our independence! As our government and culture continue to weaken under the banner of anti-God and anti-family values, we as a church are joining together to lift our prayers and stand as a united front against the enemy. We invite you to join with us as we fast throughout the day, preparing our hearts to pray collectively as a church family.
We will begin in the sanctuary with an hour of prayer and petition, appealing to God on behalf of our great Nation. We will then enjoy a family celebration, breaking our fast together. Across our property, we will have food from Common Table, other food trucks, inflatables, and even a movie set up for kids. Farm 58 will have their Farmers Market set up as well.
A special part of the evening will be a flag-raising celebration and short history lesson about the Appeal to Heaven flag and the significance it had in our nation’s history.
We will finish the evening with fireworks, as an outward expression of our prayers lifted up throughout the evening!
Prayer and worship will begin in the Sanctuary at 6:00pm, but will be viewable around the entire campus as well. We will break our fast together afterwards and finish the evening with fireworks at 9:30pm.
Common Table will have food and drinks ready to enjoy after the service. Once you register, you will automatically be sent to the Common Table page to pre-purchase your meal(s), if you choose to do so.
Other food vendors will include: Greg's Sandwich Works, Kona Shaved Ice, Mumdee Shaved Ice & Cotton Candy, and Chattanooga Kombucha.
NOTE: Due to an overwhelming response from families, we have made the entire evening a family-friendly event, thus, no childcare will provided for any age.

Description: Come join in on this incredible Hibachi Cooking Class with Chef Jeff Pennypacker at The Sweet & Savory Classroom!
This adult only event will cure boredom and bring sizzle back to your life. (you won't regret it).
About this experience:
Hibachi meaning “Fire Bowl”, is traditionally a charcoal vessel used to cook foods we associate with what is now known as “Hibachi.” The debate over when the American obsession with Hibachi, or “Teppanyaki” style cooking began is varied; but most agree it gained popularity in the 1970’s.
One thing that is not up for debate is the love for the flair-infused styles of spatula wielding, fire slinging chefs who are masters of their griddles. Over the last few years, fans of great Japanese food have surrounded the Hibachi as Chefs command a flat-top griddle with precision, showmanship, and a penchant for making amazing food. One thing that is always agreed on is that Hibachi style food is delicious!
We have assembled a menu that will delight the appetite that craves Japanese inspired cuisine. We will make all the favorites including fried rice, vegetables, meats, and sauces- all the foods we crave when we sit down to a meal at a Hibachi restaurant. We will show you the all the techniques- (and some cool tricks!)- that make Hibachi food delicious and fun!
Menu:
- Gyoza (pan fried dumplings)
- Vegetable Fried Rice
- Chicken with Teriyaki sauce
- Beef with Sweet and Spicy sauce
- Shrimp with Yum Yum sauce
- Classic Hibachi Vegetables
